Wolfson BTR is comprised of veteran real estate investors with more than a combined 50 years in the space and nearly $3 billion in transactional participation between them.
Though broadly and institutionally experienced across most major asset classes, the team has spent the majority of their respective careers focused primarily on residential real estate investing and development including over $1.3 billion and nearly 8,000 units in completed transactional volume.
Adam currently invests in and develops rental housing projects in the SE USA as a principal for his firm Wolfson Development Inc and on behalf of high net worth and institutional investors. More recently Adam served as Chief Investment Officer for a top 20 Single Family Homes For Rent (SFR) company, where he oversaw investments, capital raising and formation and had company-wide P&L leadership responsibility. In that role Adam also served as a partner during the creation of the firm’s Build for Rent (BFR) program and is considered by many to be a pioneer in the space, often speaking on and leading industry conference roundtables and panels.
Adam has over 18 years of real estate experience including development, acquisitions, leasing and advisory work. Working both entrepreneurially and with various established and institutionally capable entities Adam has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion and 2 million square feet across most major asset classes.
Adam earned his Masters of Business Administration from the George Washington University and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Though originally from the suburbs of Detroit he resides in Miami with his wife and two sons and is active in the community including his prior service to Miami Neighborhoods United.
Prior to his current role, John was the CFO and Executive Vice President of Zuffa, LLC, the owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship. During his decade-long role at UFC, John oversaw all worldwide financial operations for the media and entertainment company and contributed to growth from a breakeven cash flow enterprise to one valued at over $4 billion at exit.
Prior to UFC, John was a Managing Director at Wachovia Securities in Charlotte, where he ran high yield research in the gaming and lodging sectors and was awarded the prestigious Institutional Investor All-American research award. Prior to Wachovia, John was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns in New York City, where he held a similar role across the equity and high yield platforms at the investment bank. Before moving to NYC, John was the Director of Business Development for Station Casinos in Las Vegas.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and has remained active with his alma mater as the founding co-sponsor of the First School of Autism and Innovation. While at Vanderbilt he also captained the cross country and track teams. He is a graduate of Groton School in Massachusetts and is a native Las Vegan, where he resides with his wife and two sons.
Noah brings 20 years of commercial construction experience to the Wolfson Development team. Over the last five years alone, Noah successfully completed the renovation of over 5 million square feet of commercial space for some of the nation’s top developers, including The Taubman Company, Site Centers (formerly DDR), The Forbes Company, and Howard Hughes. Prior to this, he led the grand opening efforts for The Mall of San Juan in San Juan, Puerto Rico, International Market Place in Honolulu, HI, and the expansion of The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, TN.
With a detailed background in pre-construction services, conceptual estimating, logistics planning, insurance restoration, and project management, Noah has successfully delivered hundreds of projects across the entire commercial construction spectrum. Prior to joining Wolfson Development Company, Noah was Director of Program Management for Sachse Construction, an international Construction Management Firm, where he was responsible for all Program Management, Tenant Coordination, and Reconstruction projects.
Prior to joining Wolfson, Mr. Kasper was a Managing Director at Wharton Equity Partners where he led the Multifamily acquisitions platform. Prior to joining Wharton, Mr. Kasper was a Director with the institutional private equity real estate fund operator Madison International Realty. Mr. Kasper received a BA in Economics from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences and an MPA in Public Finance from Cornell University.
Previously, John worked at Equifax in a strategy role, where he performed various acquisitions of publicly traded companies. He has also worked for Toll Brothers and was responsible for performing land acquisitions in the multi-family housing division. Prior to working at Toll Brothers, John worked in public accounting at both Plante & Moran and Baker Tilly, where he specialized in real estate partnerships and tax strategy for high net wealth individuals. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree from Emory University in capital markets. He holds a CPA license and is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder.
Previously, Adam worked at ESJ Capital Partners in an acquisitions role, where he executed investments in office, medical office, and education infrastructure. Prior to joining ESJ, Adam worked at Blue Sky Real Estate, where he specialized in structured transactions with institutional health systems and universities.
Adam received a BA in Political Science from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Susie received a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration and management and an MBA in international business from St. Thomas University.
